נמשים

רגע אחד אנו צופים בה ורגע אחר היא צופה ומתחצפת לעברו. רגע אחד היא קלילה ושמחה ורגע אחר כל תוגת העולם על כתפיה. רגע אחד היא נערית, כמעט ילדותית
ורגע אחר היא מתריסה בפנינו מלאת תשוקה ומיניות, מתגנדרת לה בריס מודגש, מתעקל ומאורך.
נמשים – תערוכה של ניגודים. סדרה של דיוקנאות עצמיים הנעים בין צבעוניות עזה ובוהקת לצד אפרוריות מיושבת, בין רשת קוים אופקיים ואנכיים לבין משטחים ריבועיים מול פיגורטיביות של גוף ופנים נשיים ועגולים.
דרך קונטרסטים אלו מתגלה מסע אישי של התבגרות והשלמה אשר מוּנע מתוך קריאה עצמית לסדר ולהשמת גבולות.
באמצעות העשייה מגיעה היוצרת אל התובנה העמוקה כי דווקא בגבולות המגודרים מצוי החופש הנכון, הסדר המיישב את הכאוס והתהיות.

רצף דיוקנאות אלו כאומרים 'הנני' – נוכחת ושלמה, הרגעים השלמים כנמשים פזורים כחלק ממארג אחד מואר של חיי.

לירון מר-חיים, ילידת 1980, ציירת ומעצבת אופנה, בוגרת בצלאל אקדמיה לאמנות ועיצוב ירושלים, חיה ויוצרת בירושלים. זוהי לה תערוכת הביכורים.

FRECKLES

One moment we gaze at her, and the next she gazes brashly at us, one moment she is gentle and happy, the next all the sadness of the world is on her back. One moment she is youthful – even childish – the next she passionately and sexually taunts us, adorned with an elongated eyelash.

Freckles – an exhibition of oppositions, presents a series of self-portraits which move between vivid colors and subtle grayness, between vertical and lateral lines, between square surfaces juxtaposed to rounded figurations of the female body and face.
These contrasts reveal a personal voyage of maturation and self-acceptance, a voyage fueled by an internal call for order and borders.
Through her work, the artist reaches the deep understanding that, in fact, authentic freedom lies only within defined boundaries, which provide the order that calms the chaos and the uncertainties.
These sequences of portraits stand as if to say "Here I am" – a complete presence: the different moments, like freckles, are scattered as part of the illuminated tapestry of my life.

Liron Mar-Haim, artist and fashion designer, born in 1980, a graduate of the "Bezalel" Academy of Art & Design, lives and creates in Jerusalem.
This is her first exhibition.
